We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Magento 2 Developer to join a growing eCommerce platform operating in a complex product lifecycle environment .

You will play a key role in building and scaling custom Magento functionality, developing advanced pricing logic, and optimizing performance for a high-impact commerce platform.



What you’ll do


  • Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules (built from scratch)

  • Implement complex pricing logic (e.g., multi-stage purchase flows such as Rent → Buy)

  • Customize checkout flows and transactional logic

  • Integrate third-party APIs (ERP, payment providers, external services)

  • Design and extend REST & GraphQL APIs

  • Optimize performance and scalability (Redis, Varnish, ElasticSearch)

  • Improve and refactor existing architecture

  • Manage cron jobs, indexers, and asynchronous processes

  • Optimize MySQL queries and work with Magento’s EAV model



Backend

  • Strong experience with PHP 8+ (solid OOP, SOLID principles)

  • Advanced Magento 2 knowledge:

    • Custom module development

    • Dependency Injection

    • Plugins & Observers

    • Events

    • Service Contracts

    • Extension Attributes

    • EAV model (very important)

    • Custom product types

    • Custom checkout logic

    • Cron jobs & Indexers


  • MySQL (query optimization, indexing)

  • REST & GraphQL APIs

  • Redis, Varnish, ElasticSearch



Frontend

  • JavaScript (ES6+)

  • Knockout.js (Magento checkout)

  • RequireJS

  • jQuery

  • HTML5

  • CSS3 / SCSS

Other

  • Git

  • Experience with high-traffic eCommerce platforms

  • Performance optimization in Magento

  • DevOps exposure (Docker, CI/CD)
